Brief Installation and First Run Guide for Inobitec Web DICOM Viewer 2.10 (Windows and Ubuntu 20)

1. Extract the archive to a separate folder.

2. (Optional) Configure paths. In the renderserverconfig.json file, you can modify the locations for the storage and the SQLite database file.

3. (Optional) Configure server settings. In the control.json and storage.json files, you can adjust network ports and other parameters of the Web Viewer.

4. Start the server. For Windows, run RenderServer.exe. For Linux, execute the RenderServer file. Upon first launch, the database is created automatically. Keep the terminal or command window open to ensure the server continues running.

7. Open the admin panel. Navigate to the following address in your web browser: http://localhost:8090/admin. If the port has been changed, use the updated value. For remote access, replace localhost with the IP address or domain name of the machine running RenderServer.

8. Log in using the credentials admin/admin.

9. Activate the license. Use the trial period (not available for virtual machines) or enter your existing license.
