14.11. Exporting and Printing Images

The DICOM Viewer allows you to export images from the Dentistry tab to DICOM or a JPG or PNG image file. Images can also be added for printing on a standard printer or DICOM printer.

To export an image, select the desired window in the tab and click the arrow on the Quick export images button on the toolbar. Select Export images.... For details on using the tool, see Section 2.30.

To add an image for printing, select the desired window in the tab and click the Add to print list button. For details on using the tool, see Section 21.1.

The following are displayed when exporting and printing:

• images from the selected window;

• implant and abutment models;

• implant axes;

• visible measurements, annotations, markers, and tags.

Implant and abutment positioning controls are not displayed on exported or printed images.
