14.4. The "Dentistry" Tab Toolbar

The Dentistry tab provides basic image tools similar to those in the MPR reconstruction tab. In addition, the following specialized tools are available on the toolbar:

	The Layout template button opens the window layout template selection menu for the tab. It allows you to switch between templates. The appearance of the selection button may vary depending on the selected template (see Section 14.3).
	The Add implant button opens a dialog for selecting an implant model from the library. After confirmation, the selected model is added to the current planning model, and the program enters initial implant positioning mode in the MPR or 3D windows.
	The Add abutment button opens a dialog for selecting an abutment model for the selected system or implant. Only compatible abutment models are displayed in the dialog. The selected abutment is automatically placed on the implant.
	The Create custom implant component button opens a dialog for creating a custom implant or abutment based on a geometric primitive. The created component is saved in the custom component library and can be added to the current planning model.
	The Manage custom implant components button opens the custom component management dialog. The dialog allows you to search, view parameters, create, delete, import, and export custom implant and abutment models.

The Manage custom implant components button is hidden on the toolbar by default. For details on customizing the display of elements on the toolbar of the current tab, see Section 1.4.1.

The command is also available in the Dentistry main menu.
